Produced since 1874 in the Czech town of Velké Popovice, Velkopopovický Kozel is one of the world's most famous Czech lager brands. Now managed under Plzeňský Prazdroj (part of the Asahi Group), it is celebrated for maintaining old-world bohemian brewing mastership. The brewery famously keeps a live goat mascot named "Olda" on its grounds, honoring a tradition that has spanned decades.
