Founded in 1873 in Hellerup, Denmark, by Philip Heyman, Tuborg is a major international beer brand and part of the Carlsberg Group. Its name originates from "Thuesborg," a 17th-century inn that locals jokingly called "Thue's castle" due to its lively party atmosphere. Known for its pioneering spirit, Tuborg was among the first to introduce the innovative ring-pull cap and has a long-standing association with global music festivals.
