Tripel Karmeliet
Tripel Karmeliet is a highly acclaimed Belgian abbey ale introduced in 1996 by Brouwerij Bosteels, which is now part of Anheuser-Busch InBev. The recipe is inspired by an authentic 1679 formula from the former Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde. It stands out in the brewing world for its historic use of three distinct grains: barley, oats, and wheat. This multi-grain blend undergoes top fermentation and bottle-conditioning, resulting in an exceptionally complex, creamy profile rich with refined herbal, citrus, and banana-vanilla aromas.
