Staburags is a Latvian beer brand produced by the Lāčplēsis brewery, now part of the CIDO Grupa. It was created to honor the historic Staburags cliff, a legendary 18-meter travertine formation on the Daugava River that was submerged in 1965 due to hydroelectric dam construction. The beer is crafted using traditional Latvian recipes, featuring high-quality ingredients like Munich malt and noble aromatic hops to create a profile that balances light sweetness with a subtle touch of bitterness.
