Analytics Opt-Out

rcmd uses first-party analytics to understand how people use the app and to improve product recommendations. You can opt out of having your activity associated with your account at any time on this page.

What we collect with analytics

We log events such as product views, searches, recommendation views, brand and category views, share clicks, and barcode scans. Each event is enriched with: an anonymized IP address (last octet zeroed before storage), an approximate country/region/city derived from your IP via Cloudflare, your device, operating system and browser type, your interface language, the screen you're on, the app version, and a per-install session identifier with a 30-minute idle timeout. We do not store your full IP address. Events are retained for one year and are deleted along with your account.

Legal basis

We process this data under our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating, securing and improving rcmd. You have the right to object — that's what this page is for.

This setting applies to this browser only. If you use rcmd on multiple browsers or devices, set it on each. Opting out stops the browser from sending session, app version, screen and similar identifiers; it does not affect strictly-necessary cookies or your account itself.
